The proposal revolves the museum functions around an inner court
yard, “Sisäpiha” to optimize functions towards daylight, wind, sun, logistics, urban environment and social conditions, and to facilitate functionality and quality in outdoor and indoor spaces. The courtyard can be covered to house outdoor events and concerts, even in with bad weather.
