Culture | Meditation. Proposal for a new hall at the Vipassana meditation centre in Lutirano, Firenze commune. The centre wants to expand its meditation hall into a larger space, to increase capasity and accomodate a total of 80 students attending silent meditation retreats. The building is immersed in the hills of the fabolous tuscan landscapes. The site has archeological, geological and zoning limitations. The building is partly submerged, naturally ventilated and lit by daylight.
